Voted.
By the way, Be’er Sheva is much more interesting than that… it has a pub! 🙂
This is what the alien in the episode has told Janeway: “Who are you to judge?”
I think this might be a private case of the butterfly effect, and that the Prime Directive is supposed to prevent such things from happening.
The debate on ‘Pen Pals’ (TNG) deals exactly in that. I’m not sure Picard would have signed the pact.
My problem is not the action and its consequence, rather the idea she got away from this by saying “I couldn’t have known”, while Ransom, doing something similar on the Equinox, got punished.
Aye, but how many of them caused the almost-extinction of an entire race?
This exactly what Janeway did in Unimatrix Zero. 🙂
As for why copying Borg Technology?
THThe borg lack creative thinking. They cant make anything on their own. They assimilate others’ technology. So when you copy from a borg, you copy from the copier, who copied from someone else, who copied from another person – and so on.
Neat. Went by yourself?
…and some of us, on the other part of the world, will get to watch it not before June 13. 🙁
Last one…
