He sends us running around Engineering.
And in between we work on the Na’kul bomb.

What he’s doing–and this is from the Journey to Babel episode–is the Enterprise is under attack by an Orion gunship. Kirk has Scotty power to make it look like the Enterprise has been disabled, and then when the ship closes in for the kill shot he cripples it with phaser fire.
Unfortunately this cutscene is way too dark, here’s what the gunship looks like.

As far as I know this is the only time we see Jim Kirk in STO.

The Ambassador wanders off and Chekhov contacts us.

Time travel transporters use the same FX as regular transporters.
It looks like Chekhov switched uniforms before he beamed over. You should have changed too. Take the dye out of your hair, wear a regulation uniform….

So it looks like this episode is going to be a callback to Journey to Babel.

Well, whoever it is, they’re not wearing yellow.
“Get the fuck out. Chekhov?”Well, now we know why he was so well rendered back on Earth Stardock.
Chekhov is voiced by Walter Koenig, and if he sounds a little older than he did 50+ years ago, at least his character is supposed to be older too.

Once the after-action paperwork is all filed away Daniels contacts Mel.
“About damn time. I’ll be right there.” “Wait. Did he just summon me to his quarters?Yup.
