Starbase 157 system?

I’m new to posting so this is going to sound dumb but what is with this starbase 157 it’s just a bunch of rocks in space. Did I miss something about this.

a few of the systems are nothing more than a name as far as i can tell.

It’s the location for a Klingon mission. Pretty good mission too if I may add.
