How To Get Rid Of Lockbox Text On Your Screen

This came up again recently, plus we have a bunch of new captains in the Fleet lately (welcome, all), so I figured I’d post this.

Tired of the lockbox spam sliming across your screen? Here’s how to make it go away.

On the bottom right of your top-corner mini-map, there’s an icon that looks like an inverted triangle.

Clicking this will reveal a drop-down menu. You want Notification Settings.

Uncheck the two boxes next to Gameplay Announcements.

If you still want to see lockbox notices in your chat window, you can leave the “Chat” box checked. Fly-ins are the ones that cross your screen.
