i have a few.
actually do a STF where you have a pre-determined team for damage, tanking and healing. i wonder how that would go? i would like to give it a try.
i never completed team missions on nukura and would like to do so.
there is a mission i could never complete which i think is called “deja vu”?? i will have to double check, but i would like to finish it.
if you have missions you would like to finally do, don’t hesitate to let me know. i would be happy to help out.
November 29, 2012 at 12:55 pm #157282That STF Team would look like this:
– 1 Eng in a Cruiser with extend shields, eng team and maxed threat control and a +Threat console (so they can actually tank)
– 4 Escorts/carriers, built for max damage, all with cross heals in TSS2 and HE1, with a copy of gravity well on at least one... or you can replace the cruiser with escort/carrier #5 because if people are cross healing, you should probably be okay.
I would like to do the Undine STF sometime (the name escapes me.. some kind of dome?)
November 29, 2012 at 1:18 pm #157283Deja Vu is actually an objective in the mission “Terradome”. This is what’s left of the original STFs prior to F2P.
A brief history: Back then, there were only 4 STFs – 3 involving the borg, and 1 involving the Undine. Back then the ground and space borg STFs were combined, so “Infected” involved both doing the space part, and then beaming down to the starbase for the ground part. It was all 1 mission, and there was no separate Infected ground/Infected space. We (the 44th) had it down pretty good, being able to complete it in 35 min.
Terradome was the undine STF. It didn’t get played much because the reward was junk – a blue armor. It did not get revised like the borg STFs did, so it remains the last vestige of the old style STFs. For players new to the mission, it can be impossible to complete. For people familiar with it, it can be completed in 60 – 90 minutes. It’s actually pretty fun to run once or twice. “Deja Vu” is the start of the ground part. You definitely need team work and coordination. You also have to be able to hold your ground on your own against a constant spawn of Undine. Only the vets in the fleet have probably done this mission. Me, Zippy, and Yuri have done it. Since season 6, me and Zippy have run through it again. The mission bugs at one part in Deja Vu fairly often, so a restart may be required sometimes. I’d be happy to run it with you, but time zone differences may be an issue. Having teamspeak certainly helps for this mission.
