- Real name: James
- Age: 51
- Location: Yorkshire UK (UTC+1)
- Characters: Morgan Carter@jaronheartfellow (TOS Federation), Hamak@jaronheartfellow (Romulan Republic Federation Ally), Ro’Glak (KDF)
- Previous fleets: I used to be in a fleet years ago. I think they were called Omega Force Explorers based on an in-game mail I received. I’m not sure if they still exist. The website they had is no longer operative.
- Why join the Mighty 44th? I haven’t played STO in a while and after watching some videos about the story episodes of STO, I found myself in the mood to play again. You folks have a community that seems like a fun place and a good fit, and I particularly like that your Federation and KDF fleets work as a team rather than simply a way to farm PvP. I enjoy casual play, but I also enjoy having folks to team up and chat with sometimes.
But mostly, I like the idea of being part of a group of like-minded people with shared interests where I be as involved or casual as I’d like, where I can take part in game content otherwise not accessible to a more casual player like myself.
- Tell us about yourself: I’m a huge sci-fi and fantasy nerd and have been a gamer since the days of the Atari 2600. My Dad was a huge sci-fi fan and we would always make time to watch reruns of TOS Star Trek and the original Doctor Who. My love for sci-fi is entirely due to my Dad, and I think I’m a better person for it. I regularly watch Star Trek with my own kids (we’re watching TNG and DS9 currently, in chronological order lol) and like to encourage them to learn about the universe.
I’ve been a DM for Dungeons & Dragons for almost 40 years and enjoy all kinds of table-top gaming, and I am happy to answer any questions anyone might have regarding table-top RPG’s in general. I enjoy games and story-telling and I truly believe they are among the best tools we have for teaching our kids.
- Do you accept the rules and regulations? Yes
