- Why join the Mighty 44th? I tend to play MMOs only sporadically. I’ve been off STO for a very long time, but I was recently lured back in to complete the most recent episode stories, and I’m sticking it out for the goodies from the events. However, playing alone isn’t a lot of fun, so I think I would enjoy myself some more, and tackle some of the higher-end content, with a Fleet. I do like to be in fleets that are actually established, so that there are more resources and people available to play with.
- Tell us about yourself: Out in the grim and gritty real world, I’m a college professor. I teach chemistry, although I’m actually a biochemist by training. I have cats! I’m sort of an all-purpose nerd. My current hobby interests are tabletop RPGs, tabletop miniatures-based wargames, and reading (mostly sci-fi and fantasy, but I also branch out into mystery, horror, military history, and philosophy). I do some community service through Keep America Beautiful, and I advise the D&D club at the college where I work.
