Tell us about yourself: I’ve been gaming most of my life including DOS, NES, SNES PS, PC and others but STO is the first MMO I’ve tried and stuck with. I’ve tried to get into games like World of Warcraft have never really been able to get into them and haven’t enjoyed the social interactions I had with other players there. STO however has been different; I know and love the mythology and on the whole other players are very pleasant and easy to get on with. I’ve been playing for a few months now and have a level 50 Science Officer, I’ve played through all the stories and completed the STF missions many times (normal and Elite), am currently working towards the rank of Diplomat (currently just passed Envoy) and have been thinking about joining a fleet for some time.

Why did you choose the Mighty 44th: As I said above; I’m an experience gamer but have little experience with MMO games, I am also in full time employment so can’t commit to being online every day and sometimes not even every week. 44th seems to be an active Fleet that doesn’t mind if real life occurs and also sounds like a fleet that is willing to teach me more about MMO and STO in general.

Have you read the rules?: Yes and I agree to them.

Are you willing to use Teamspeak?: I have never used it, or any other gaming chat program but for work I regularly use Skype to keep in contact and collaborate on projects so I have no problem with long distance communication. I’d be willing to give Teamspeak a go.
