I want a place to socialize with people, and have a common interest in star trek online, as well as potentially a general gaming community filled with mature and respectful players.
I think a star trek community is probably an ideal setting for such a community, as the original shows fostered good morals. Therefore I believe a community interested in star trek, will likely have good attributes as well. Either way, I am interested in star trek online, and want friends to talk to and play with, and I wouldn’t mind benefiting from resources of an established community.
- Tell us about yourself: I am generally a very casual and laid back guy, I try to be as friendly and nice to everyone as I can be. I love making friends, and hanging out with people when I can. I love talking to people, and especially friends. If anyone wants to add me on discord, feel free to. You can send me dm’s at any time, about anything, I’ll get back to you as soon as possible, and we can chat it up.
Just be respectful to me, and I’ll go out of my way to be respectful to you.
Personally, I am dealing with some problems in my life, however. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and OCD around 10 years ago, now I am on disability for it. So I am unemployed, and therefore funds are very tight. But I’ve also got a lot of time to spare.
I am very stable though, because of my medication, that I’ve taken consistently for the last 10 years. So don’t worry about me.
I like to be open about my short comings, I feel it helps whoever wants to be my friend, understand me better. And as I said, I like to make friends. So I want to be understood in that respect. 🙂
Anyway, I love gaming, and its my favorite past time, my hobby, I play a variety of games, but star trek online has been my latest obsession. I played the game like 13-12 years ago, and have returned to play it since. I put like 1k+ hours in back then, and god knows how long I intend to play it now. Anyway that is the primary motivator for me trying to find a proper fleet to call home. And therefore, hopefully this will be that place! 🙂
